Si avvicinano le elezioni e la gioiosa macchina da guerra del sindaco per caso propone un ventaglio di scelte di tutto rispetto: ex-democristiani, ex-socialisti, ex-comunisti, attuali-figli di qualcuno. Fra le varie opportunità suggeriamo di non scartare l'idea del suicidio.
Il nervosismo che il sindaco per caso fa trasparire in queste ultime battute di campagna elettorale, suggerisce l'insorgenza tipica di una sorta di ansia da prestazione. In questo caso, a parti invertite. Infatti, la paura che il popolo possa pronunciare il classico “tutto qui?”, la fa correre da un'inaugurazione all'altra.
